  241. Deport verb

  [VN] to force sb to leave a country, usually because they have broken the law or because they

  [VN to inf]to make it possible for sb to do sth: The software enables you to access the

  244. Dominate verb

  to control or have a lot of influence over sb/sth, especially in an unpleasant way: [VN] As a

  doesn't dominate.

  [VN] to be the most important or noticeable feature of sth: In recent years, social policy has

  been dominated by cuts in spending.

  [VN]to be the largest, highest or most obvious thing in a place: The cathedral dominates

  the city.

  245. Abdicate verb
