  英文解释: verb: refuse to comply

  例句: The students were willing to clean up the broken glass, but when the teacher asked them to mop the entire floor, they balked, citing reasons why they needed to leave.

  英文解释: adjective: repeated too often; overfamiliar through overuse

  例句: The professor used such banal expression that many students in the class either fell asleep from bordeom or stayed awake to complete his sentences and humor friends.
